2) Public Engagement - Avila University Student Housing 12100 Wornall Road –

Patricia Jensen, Attorney, Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes, P.C.

Tonya Mourning, Avila University, Chief Financial Officer XXXXX, Development Office for Avila University – will ​present a proposal regarding the property at 12100 Wornall Road (former Villa Ventura) and Avila University’s ​application to request approval of: (1) rezoning from R-7.5 to R-1.5 and (2) Special Use Permit to allow for occupancy of ​the existing building into 173 student housing units (graduate students). Attached to the agenda is the information ​provided from Avila’s Counsel regarding the proposal.


Avila has requested the City to put a blinking light crosswalk in front of this facility to make it safer for students to cross ​Wornall Rd
